Go to print for page sizes and stuff Bleed gives the page a boarder, so anything outside of it is trimmed off. Facing pages prints out like a book or magazine.

Poster +Reflect

Image
When I was making the vehicle, I wanted to add the aspect of perspective to make the camera angle seem diagonal. Perspective was shown by making closer things larger and further things smaller to mimic real life. This perspective can also be scene in the backgeround, as trees appear small as they are further. Colours are distictive The poster shows the vehicle having fast momentum going around corners, with smoke trails even being left behind to showcase speed. The vehicles floating mechanic allows for it to swing around tight corners without having to worry about flying off, since it is attached to the horses.' The charactor is pretty calm as they are convident that they will win. The perspective of the road is also very dinamic with a nice horizon line. The road also has a sense of motion as it gets bigger(cause it's closer) I feel like the colour design could of been done differently, but it isn't that bad and doesn't contrast to much with the overall design. Charcater Idiation + Reflection

Feedback = Make silloette more expanded and interesting Finding good design for clothing was a bit, and still is, a problem. Costume has a big inpact on character, but keeping it simple generally helps get that main idea out. Trying to incorperate futeristic style into the clothing was thought of, like a biker suit or sunglasses, just to show off a wilder side. Fox is my favourite part though

Reflection

What you have learned about the current steps: How to generate colours, and do character turn arounds Problems you've encountered: Choosing were colours go and making them work Solutions you've tried: Mixing and matching, using colour theory Discussion on Aesthetic (how the project is looking/visual direction) Discuss how you chose your colour scheme and specific final design. be specific as this is a critical part of your grade. I Havnt finished colour choosing, but final design fit the asthetic of being old lady, I liked the shapes being round and simple and fire horses are pretty cool to draw, especcially the big wheel coming into the design. Next steps: What will you do next? Finish colour stuff, work on the poster and design Bible stuff

What you have learned about the current steps: Its hard to decide between detailed and simplicity, especially when personal skill is relied on for both. Problems you've encountered: Perspective in 2D to show angles Solutions you've tried: Drawing again and undoing if bad Discussion on Aesthetic (how the project is looking/visual direction) Your opinion on the current look/direction/idea. What do you like? What are you not sure about? Are there any changes you're thinking of making?:   I like the use of shapes in making the character, im not sure about how to draw wrinkles, might seach for references for it. Next steps: What will you do next?:  Make the rawings more understandable

Feedback = Having horse mechanical might complicate things, carraige on its own in some interations, How would the horse help the carraige or is it redundant so far, some problems have been trying to make it retro futuristic, how to incorperate mechanics into horses and carraiges. Solution was just having a varity of ideas. I like the direction currently by having a horse, but i also liked the monter truck wheels. Will decide with partner what to evolve in the design.

Feedback - do some annotations for the images I kind of wanted to go for a royal and well dressed character Problems are deciding on things, solutions of flipping coins Aesthetic is more mature, cunning and elegent for the character
